Cherry Watermelon Firecracker Slushy

Dude. How is it July already?! This year is flying. I haven’t even planned any vacations or trips yet! Need to get on that ASAP. But I do already have all my summer content planned so I’m feeling pretty good about that. And guys, there’s some really good ones. I can’t wait to share them with you. And guess what?! Today I’m sharing one of them so you don’t even have to wait! I partnered with my friends again at Master of Mixes, America’s #1 cocktail mix brand, to come up with the perfect cocktail for the 4th of July! It’s a fruity, boozy slushy, I mean COME ON. And bonus: this recipe is pitcher-sized so you can whip up a blender full and make backyard entertaining on the holiday a breeze so you can just kick back and watch the fireworks.
This drink is so simple but really packs a punch. We start with Master of Mixes Handcrafted Watermelon Daiquiri/Margarita Mixer, frozen cherries, vodka, cherry liqueur, and a jalapeño for a kick! That’s literally it! The whole thing is blended up into the most delicious and refreshing grown up slushy. The hint of spice works so well with the sweet, summer fruit. And I love using the Watermelon Daiquiri/Margarita Mixer here because it’s already bringing the juicy, sweet watermelon and tart lime juices to the party without all the work. Cherry Watermelon Firecracker Slushy
serves 6
1 c Master of Mixes Watermelon Daiquiri/Margarita Mixer
1 1/2 c frozen cherries
1/2 a jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed (or more depending on how much spice you like)
10 oz vodka (tequila would be delicious too!)
6 oz cherry liqueur
2 1/2- 3 c ice (or more or less depending on desired consistency)
garnishes
lime wheels
fresh cherries
Combine everything in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth, adding more ice if necessary to reach desired consistency. Pour into glasses and garnish with lime wheels and fresh cherries. Enjoy!
